Sometimes, these moments can be terrifying, such as the moment a Red Dead Redemption 2 player found a corpse in a cabin, but other times the random nature of the game can lead to incredibly funny moments. Though many of these moments occur naturally as players explore, one player decided to recreate one of their favorite shows in the game.

Much like robbing a train in Red Dead Redemption 2, TikTok user superswoldier’s clip went about as poorly as it possibly could. To his credit, considering he was basing the clip on the antics displayed in popular TV and movie series Jackass, the clip going poorly was perfect for the situation. To create the clip, superswoldier brought Dutch to a train bridge, preparing him for the scariest stunt of his life.

The clip shows Arthur Morgan on the train’s bridge with Dutch directly across from him on a cliff. Then, superswoldier begins to explain that the stunt they’re about to perform is a bungee jump before throwing his lasso at Dutch and sending him flying below the bridge. The stunt is going well until Dutch becomes caught on the underside of the bridge. Unfortunately, superswoldier is forced to shoot the rope to get Dutch down, sending him falling into a river. Then, superswoldier jumps into the river to save Dutch, only to find a flailing shark instead.

This clip was absolute chaos from start to finish. Clips like these seem to be painting a picture of Arthur Morgan as a chaotic character that enjoys terrorizing Dutch and choking Red Dead Redemption 2 poker players. TikTok users agreed with this notion, with many of them cracking jokes about Arthur’s antics. Other users commented that the random shark really surprised them, and wondered where the heck it came from. Yet another user commented that Arthur and Dutch were trained professionals, further referencing Jackass.

Clips like superswoldier’s as well as Red Dead Redemption 2’s Jack summoning lightning further add to the already extensive library of funny and wacky clips. Perhaps Arthur and Dutch can learn from this experience, and maybe next time come up with a safer stunt that doesn’t involve railroad tracks, rapids, or sharks.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is now available on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
