Since its launch, many third-party publishers have released their games on the Switch despite its technical shortcomings. Games like Doom Eternal, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have all been released as native ports on the Switch, while others are only available via the cloud. One of the highest-rated collections of a popular third-party game is now on sale on the Nintendo eShop.

Players can get Portal: Companion Collection for just $13.39 on Nintendo eShop right now, giving users access to the critically acclaimed Portal and Portal 2 for a cheap price. Portal: Companion Collection usually goes for $19.99, so fans get a discount of around 33% on the Portal games. Portal: Companion Collection was released in June for the Switch to critical acclaim, as it currently has a score of 96 on Metacritic. Portal and Portal 2 are also some of the highest-rated games of their respective launch years. Although the Portal games are available on various platforms, the Switch version offers a great way to play these games on the go, so users interested in trying them out can take advantage of the deal.

Nintendo is hosting a special sale for critically acclaimed games on Nintendo eShop. This sale offers discounts of up to 70% on digital games and DLC bundles, and it ends on December 18 as mentioned above. The list of games includes Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak Deluxe, Shin Megami Tensei 5, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, and Hades among others. Players can check the Switch eShop to find a full list of discounted titles.

Hades is probably one of the highest-rated games on this list, and fans should also note that Supergiant Games officially announced Hades 2 at The Game Awards on December 8. The developer is yet to announce the list of available platforms, but gamers can probably expect it to launch on the Switch at some point in its lifecycle.
