With seconds remaining in the Rhode Island Division III state title game, Burrillville held a one-point lead over Chariho High School. A Burrillville player stole a Chariho inbound pass and heaved it in the air to end the game — or so the Broncos thought. A Chariho player caught the ball with one second left and called timeout, setting up the eventual buzzer-beater to give the Chargers the win.
