How to Complete the Obstacle Course in High on Life

Electric Floor Panels

To get started with the obstacle course, players should walk (or jump) over the pair of electric panels on the floor near the course entrance. Make sure they are not glowing purple, or else players will get shocked and take damage.

Jump down to the first set of platforms, making sure not to walk on them when they are about to spark purple electricity. Players should remember that they can dash by pressing the B button (Xbox) and using the left stick to aim. This is the dodge unit that was purchased back at the first shop.

Swinging on Bees

After passing the second set of electric panels, press LB so that Knifey can attach to the flying bee. Swing forward to land on the next set of platforms. Be careful, as these platforms will change color faster than the others.

Once players reach a long gap in the platforms, jump off and press LB again to attach yourself to the platform with the yellow alien on it. Defeat him with the gun or a melee attack to pick up some armor and a couple of Pesos.

The Big Jump

For the last long strip of panels, start to run across it as soon as the purple electricity reaches the tile closest to the player. At the end of the path, it may seem like there’s no way to go, but players can jump off and perform a quick dash with B to reach the rocky platform across the gap. This will lead to the end of the training exercise. High on Life players can enter the Recruitment Center again and sit down to begin the next exercise from Douglas. This might end up leading to a boss fight with Douglas, so be prepared for anything.

High on Life is available for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
